About Us

Put Your Club Online hosted at weebly.com is a companion website to the "Optimist Academy"  and the "Put Your Club Online with Blogger" sites.  Combined, those three websites and the related sample websites, facebook pages and twitter feeds provide a wealth of education resources to Optimist members who want to put their club on the internet.

Mission

To provide online tutorials and resources to educate fellow Optimists on how easy it is to build an online presence for an Optimist club.

2012-13 Projects

Our goals for this year are:
  • Build a new Put Your Club Online website/blog hosted on weebly.com
  • Publish new tutorials
  • Revise the content on the Put Your Club Online with Blogger.
  • Build a Sample Club website, facebook page, twitter feed and Google+ page to demonstrate how to make it all happen.

2010-12 Accomplishments

Starting in 2010, we hosted several workshops at different District meetings that discussed building club websites and using social media.  We also built Put Your Club Online as a Blogger.com website/blog and started to publish tutorials.  

In late 2012, Blogger.com changed the administration panel look and feel we had to retire most of the tutorial articles.
